As Oregon State students, we come from across the world. Waking up early, staying up late, working relentlessly towards our own self-betterment. The thing that connects us all, is that we are all….

In Pursuit

“How to Put on a Fashion Show”

As Executive Director…

I lead a Team of 13 students

in 5 committees:

  • Show Producers:

Communicating logistics and answering questions for 125 models and 35 Student Designers

  • Design Exhibition Liaisons

Collecting and Featuring Design work from students across OSU’s Design Programs.

  • Interior Designers:

Planned for over 750 seated options for atendees, and pre-show ticketed concert.

Designed runway logistics that allowed for over 125 models to walk in a two story venue.

  • Print and Social Media Marketing

Personally developed a collaboration with OSU’s MarketingX internship program through the College of Buisness. Working with student leaders, faculty, and advisory staff within the School of Apparel Design and the School of Marketing to provide paid internship opportunities for student content creators

Created cohesive visual stories on Instagram about Senior Design collections, providing unique insight into senior design collections. Related content back to OSU Apparel Design Program, cementing a legacy for potential apparel students to aspire to.

Social media was used with the express intention of bringing the campus community closer to the work of apparel design students, not only in hopes of garnering attnetion for the show, but to plant a flag. OSU is an apparel design school, and we had the body of work to prove it.

  • Budgeting and Accounting

Taking the wins from the 2024 show, I knew that there was plenty of potential growth for the 2025 edition. After some hard nosed Goal setting we were confident that we would be the ones to transform the show from a niche “college event”, into a professional, explorative, and never before seen Fashion Show.

So we doubled the budget, doubled the total seating, doubled the amount of donor funding, and therein created a show fit for the truly one of a kind designs that the students of OSU’s Apparel Design program are capable of creating.
